I am a 17 year old currently living in the Twin Cities area in the frozen state of Minnesota. As you may have guessed I don't really care for the cold Minnesota air. I would much prefer a nice neutral climate to live in. Perhaps Chicago, I would love to live in a city and I love Chicago so I think it would be a good match. Perhaps I will move there once I have some money saved up. Anyway back to the present.
I love to write and that is why I have chosen it as a career. You might be thinking that I am a little you to be thinking about a career in writing, but I have made up my mind. I do not plan on having this as my only job though as that is not a reliable source of income and I would like to be able to pay things like rent or mortgage. I am thinking of a couple different alternative jobs but have yet to come up with one as appealing as writing.
I love to read. I have issues with taking up to 50 books out of the library at a time. To be fair some of those books were research for my novels. I like many kinds of genres including, but not limited to, fantasy, romance, and mystery. I have recently read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I loved it even though it is not in any of my favored genres. Basically what I was trying to say there is I can still appreciate books in other genres if they are written well.
I have two dogs, a cat, fish, and a corn snake. I love them all dearly. I love animals a lot, to the point that I considered becoming a vet for a while, but I don't think that I would really enjoy that job. And no, I will not settle for a good paying job if I can't enjoy myself doing it. I would rather work some job that pays me $20,000 a year and enjoy what I do than work a job that pays $80,000 a year and hate my job.
